Blue Diamond Indian Basmati Sella Rice is a naturally 'aromatic' long grain variety grown in the foothills of the Himalayas, and has been aged a minimun of one year to dry it and intensify its flavour. As a result, this has a distinct 'nutty' aroma and taste. Properly aged, Indian Basmati Sella Rice is firm-textured and very aromatic. This variety alongates to almost twice its uncooked sized and is used in all Indian cuisine cooking, including rice biryani and pilaf. Also serve wiwth beef, veal poultry, lamb, seafood and vegetarian dishes.

Cooking Instructions:
1. In a 2-quart saucepan,place 1 cup rice, and 2 cup of water. 1 teaspoon salt(Optional), and 1 tablespoon oil, butter, or margarine(Optional) for drier, firmer cooked rice, use less water.
2. Bring rice to a full boil, Reduce heat to simmer(low boil). Cover with tight fitting lid and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
3. Remove from heat. Fluff with fork and let stand 5 minutes
